With another wrestling pay per view extravaganza upon us all this weekend..
I thought it was time again for another round of my “OFFICIAL” predictions.
Excited? Of course you are! Who wouldn’t be?!
The 2012 offering of TNA’s Lockdown ppv experience, is slam packed with a great mixture of veteran talent and young upstarts.
This one promises to be a classic in my humble (INCREDIBLE) opinion.
If you need reinforcement of that, look no further than the battle for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
James Storm and Bobby Roode are going to bring the magic at Lockdown and I for one cannot wait to see it.
The sleeper matches (If you can really call them that.) are of course going to be the matches between the recently returning Motor City Machine Guns & Samoa Joe and Magnus.
I’m pumped for that one!
And obviously.. Kurt Angle vs Jeff Hardy. Does anyone that’s a true wrestling fan believe that these two won’t bring it on the 15th?
If you don’t.. then you’re an idiot who needs to be slapped with Angle’s gold medal. Period. End of story. Sit down and shut!
Well with all of this buildup, I only have one thing left to do.
So here they are folks.. My predictions!
Devon vs. Robbie E (For the TNA TV Title.): I’m not quite sure about this one in all honesty. I think the Devon title victory kind of came out of no where, so I’m not sure they have a ton invested in him as champ. With that said..
Prediction: Robbie E wins with help from Robbie T
Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky (For the TNA Knockouts Title.): I’m actually really looking forward to seeing what these two very talented ladies can deliver inside a cage! With the odd mix of beauty and brutality – it’s going to be insane.
Prediction: Gail Kim retains her title.
Matt Morgan vs. Crimson: Two giant athletic monsters who are going to rip each other apart inside the confines of the dreaded steel cage – What doesn’t sound great about that?! Mark my words, these two men know they might not be able to offer up the same athleticsm as some of these matches – so they are going to have to tear each other apart with total physicality. The intensity.. “WOW” is all I can say.
Prediction: Crimson will find a way to pull this one out.
Team Eric Bischoff: Bully Ray, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Gunner and one more to come. (Eric?) vs Team Garrett Bischoff: Garrett, AJ Styles, Mr. Anderson, RVD and Austin Aries in a Lethal Lockdown Match (If Team Eric wins, Garrett can’t wrestle in TNA again, If Team Garrett wins, Eric must leave TNA.)(<- This is what has been reported about the match.): We all know it, you don’t need me to say it. (But I will!) This match is going to be NUTS! With as much talent that is in this one, you can’t go wrong.. hopefully. HA!
Prediction: Team Garrett will pull it off with some sort of INSANE finish.
Samoa Joe and Magnus vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (For the TNA Tag Titles.): I’m really looking forward to this one! The mesh of styles here is straight out of a wrestling fanboy nerds dreams! So uh.. MY DREAMS! It’s really going to be something special. Kudos to TNA for this match!
Prediction: Joe & Magnus will retain
Kurt Angle vs Jeff Hardy: Two Legends inside of a steel cage is always a recipe for some excitement! These two will destroy themselves in this one, just to make sure we all go away fulfilled. This is one we’ll remember for a long time!
Prediction: Jeff Hardy
Bobby Roode vs James Storm (For the TNA World heavyweight Championship): To say this match is highly anticipated around the offices of JimmySick.com would be a HUGE understatement. This match/feud has EVERYTHING in my eyes and I’m so looking forward to watching them deliver the goods.
Prediction: Roode retains.. BARELY.
